Red Tornado Kirby

This was an at- con commission that I didn't get to finish of a Red Tornado Kirby. This actually isn't the first time I've made a tornado Kirby,as I made one for a con to sell, before I started getting serious. I like the design improvement however, especially the tiara. I used a Crystazzi Peridot glass bead for the gem-stone in the tiara. Unfortunately one of the spirals broke off upon construction, so I had to super- glue it back on. But it's not noticable. The wind on his head I used a combination of white, silver, and a little glow-in-the-dark clay. My one complaint is the tornado burnt on the top upon second- baking, so I had to sand it off. I need to start using my big oven, my mini- sculpey oven keeps burning everything -_-'. Photography by Kay Hudnall.
